As a multifaceted program of study, students will be prepared for entry-level employment or advancement in law enforcement, corrections, probation, immigration, security services and comparable types of employment. Students preparing for a career in criminal justice and security will study private, industrial, and retail security. This is not a training program for police or corrections officers. The Massage Therapy classes at Santa Barbara Business College fuse clinical work and the classroom so graduates are ready to sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). Once certified, you can work in a variety of settings, such as health clubs, sports organizations, spas or even start your own massage therapy business. - Medical Assisting (Associate)
If you want to be a member of a professional healthcare team, this program can prepare you for an exciting career in the medical field. General duties of a medical assistant include preparing patients for treatment, assisting physicians with treatment, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and front office management. In addition students will become certified in phlebotomy and learn how to operate EKG equipment. This program is designed to prepare students to be qualified to install, configure, manage, and maintain existing Microsoft networks. The curriculum includes peripheral interfacing, network design and administration, client/server computing, LANs management, exposure to the relationship between LANs and WANs, connectivity, network theory, system integration, and Internet languages. Upon completion, students will be prepared for emerging positions as Network Administrators or Engineers, Systems Directors, M.I.S. Directors, or Computer Support Specialists. - Office Administration (Diploma)

This program is designed to comprehensively cover theory and applications of procedures used in law offices by paralegals, enabling graduates to assist attorneys in areas such as research, reporting, and preparation of legal documents, agreements, exhibits, and other relevant tasks prior to trial. Students are also taught client interviewing skills, basic investigative techniques, how to conduct legal research, and the art of briefing case law.
